Dean and Trixie

I just finished listening to a recording by Dean Koontz of his book "A Big Little Life: A Memoir of a Joyful Dog." If you admire dogs this is a MUST read. Unlike his fiction works of suspense, this is humorous and has many spiritual insights, too!

He quoted a line from "East Coker," by T. S. Eliot: "The only wisdom is humility," (then he adds) which engenders gratitude, and humility is the condition of the heart essential for us to know peace.
The only wisdom is humility which engenders gratitude, and humility is the condition of the heart essential for us to know peace.
Doesn't that just resonate in your spirit? In Ephesians 4 Paul begs us to " lead a life worthy of the calling to which you have been called,  with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love,  making every effort to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. "

May this day bring you great peace through humility.
